Aurora Venture – Major Winch & Crane Overhauls

We’re proud to report that Conbit supported Landfall Technical Management with the successful completion of an extensive maintenance period on the EuroCarrier 2495 Aurora Venture of Ocean Farm Services Ltd — with a special focus on her critical deck equipment.

Scope of Works:

Major refit of the forward Heila crane and aft HS Marine crane

– Cylinder overhauls

– Full maintenance

– Valve block overhauls

– New crane wire, components renewed and complete repaint with great assistance of both helpful crews

– Final load testing successfully completed

Full overhaul of the AH/towing winch:

The winch has been completely dismantled, with every single part carefully:

✅ Cleaned

✅ Inspected

✅ Overhauled or renewed where needed

✅ Reassembled with new machined shafts, renewed components, new linings, overhauled cylinders, new installed grease channels, renewers bushings, bearings, and more.

➡️The winch is now truly “as new”, fully restored and ready for reliable performance.
