Eindhoven, The Netherlands (April 16th 2026), Conbit announces the acquisition of key assets of OIS Offshore Industrie Service GmbH, including the ISC GWO Training Centre, further strengthening its position in the offshore wind and energy sector. The full business will remain operational throughout the transition and will be integrated seamlessly into the Conbit organization.
The transaction includes the complete portfolio of OIS’s offshore electrical services and crane services, which cover maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection activities. It also includes all operations of ISC, an accredited GWO training provider founded as part of OIS. Operations will be conducted under a new legal entity based in Rostock, Germany, a strategically important location for serving the offshore wind industry in the Baltic Sea. The acquisition also includes the Bockhorn facility, positioned near the German North Sea region for rapid mobilization of offshore personnel and equipment.
Leadership continuity is secured with Mr. Heiko Seefeldt, who has served as Managing Director of OIS for more than a decade and will continue in this role within the new structure. His extensive experience and longstanding client relationships ensure stability and consistency for all stakeholders.
OIS entered financial distress due to a single project involving an extensive marine spread, ultimately leading to insolvency proceedings. Nevertheless, the company brings significant expertise, a highly skilled workforce, and well‑established operational processes. As part of the Krebs Gruppe, OIS has steadily expanded its capabilities in offshore electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance, and specialized crane services.
ISC, as part of the acquisition, will continue delivering its full portfolio of GWO safety and technical training. Its programs support the growing need for certified wind technicians in Europe’s offshore energy market. ISC’s operations will remain uninterrupted, with Conbit providing long‑term stability and opportunities for growth.

Conbit is pleased to welcome the many new colleagues joining from OIS and ISC. Their competencies, qualifications, and deep offshore experience, across electrical work, crane services, and safety training, perfectly complement Conbit’s capabilities and will play a key role in broadening the company’s service portfolio.
In line with Conbit’s core principle, the “Power of Preparation”, the integration of OIS and ISC is being executed with careful planning and a strong focus on continuity. This approach ensures that all clients and partners continue receiving reliable, safe, and high‑quality services throughout and after the transition period.
In the short term, existing clients and supply chain partners of OIS and ISC will be contacted personally to discuss the continuation of their cooperation. Conbit sees these relationships as highly valued and fully aligned with the long‑standing principles and practices of OIS and ISC.
