FG International Holland BV was a Dutch engineering company with over 23 years of experience in flare tip replacement, tank inspection, and special lifting solutions. It served major oil, gas, and chemical companies worldwide using innovative, crane-free techniques.
The company specialized in fast, cost-effective operations, offering alternatives to traditional cranes and scaffolding. It completed complex projects both on- and offshore, including flare replacements on FPSOs and precision lifts in tight spaces.
With a skilled 50-person team, FG International grew rapidly, known for its hands-on approach, technical expertise, and commitment to solving tough engineering challenges.
From 2002 until 2011 Conbit was the engineering subcontractor for FG International. FG International and Conbit worked closely together on many projects. FG International would execute the special lifting projects, based on the lift plans and lift analysis performed by Conbit. Creating the perfect balance between the strengths of both companies.
FG International (or FG International Holland BV) filed for bankruptcy in 2011. At that point in time, Conbit decided to take over the tasks of executing the lifting projects under its own name. This meant a new era in the history of Conbit. Now we are fully transitioned from a traditional engineering company to a turnkey lifting contractor.
The close relationship build between FG International and Conbit is still resembled today with key personnel joining Conbit and who are part of Conbit’s current board of directors.
We are committed to serve the past clients of FG International.
