Conbit Global Cranes Load Testing

Conbit Global Cranes Load Testing

Conbit Global Cranes your Crane Load Test Partner

Conbit Global Cranes specializes in performing load tests for cranes with Safe Working Loads (SWL) exceeding 1,000 metric tons. Our teamcombines expertise in rigging and rope access techniques to deliver comprehensive, turnkey solutions tailored to your operational needs. With all necessary load testing equipment available in-house, we ensure efficiency and precision in every project, while adhering to the strictest safety and regulatory standards.

Pre-Inspection

Before conducting any load test, our team carries out a thorough pre-inspection of the crane. This process ensures that all components are in proper working condition, identifying any potential issues that could affect the test or crane performance. By addressing theseconcerns upfront, we guarantee a safe and efficient testing process.

Load Application

During the test, calibrated weights or water bags are gradually applied to simulate loads—often up to 125% of the crane's SWL. This controlled application evaluates the crane's ability to handle heavy loads, ensuring it operates reliably under stress conditions.

Functional Testing

To confirm the crane’s overall functionality, we test critical operations such as hoisting, lowering, slewing, and trolley travel under load conditions. This step verifies that the crane can perform all necessary movements without mechanical or structural issues.

Safety System Verification

Ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment is paramount. We verify the functionality of all safety systems, including limit switches, overload protection systems, and emergency stop mechanisms, to confirm they operate effectively during load handling.

Post-Test Inspection

Following the load test, our team conducts a detailed post-test inspection. This step identifies any signs of damage or wear caused by the test, ensuring that the crane is in optimal condition for continued operation.

Comprehensive Equipment Suite

At Conbit Global Cranes, we utilize an extensive range of high-quality equipment for load testing, including calibrated test weights, load monitoring devices, rigging gear, motion sensors, and advanced safety systems. Our integrated approach ensures reliable results and minimizes operational downtime.
