Conbit High Tech, active in lifting, handling andtransporting equipment in the High Tech industry, is a rapidly growing BusinessUnit within Conbit. For this Business Unit, Conbit is actively looking for a MechanicalEngineer. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design andengineering of lifting and/or handling tools and equipment.
Reports to
Group Lead Mechanical Engineering
Key Result Areas
- To develop new transport, handling and lifting tools
- To design tools and equipment
- To create engineering drawings, analysis, reports
- To attend design review meetings
- To ensure engineering is done within planning and budget
- To ensure engineering is in compliance with client requirements
- To create technical specifications, test plans and documentation
- To utilize the knowledge and experience of the supply chain
- To ensure all engineering is checked and approved
- To attend project meetings and be present on sites as required
- To report on a regular basis to the Group Lead Mechanical Engineering
