Conbit and LATC support Nigerian Offshore Market

Thanks for visiting our booth at the NOG Energy Week in Abuja. It was a privilege to welcome you, and we hope you enjoyed our conversation. We look forward to building our relationship and adding value to your offshore project.

Conbit and LATC team up to serve clients in Nigeria's offshore market, offering full-service lifting solutions, including marine spread.

Offshore Lifting in Nigeria

For operators of offshore assets, we often provide alternatives to crane vessels for lifting modules to and from FPSOs and platforms. Recent examples include:

  • Living quarters
  • Boat landings
  • Crane booms
  • Lifeboat davits

Conbit uniquely excels in flare tip replacement, holding the world’s largest track record. Now, this technology is available in Nigeria through our partner LATC Marine.

Conbit's history in Nigeria

Conbit has a strong history in Nigeria, exemplified by replacing the flare tip at the Agbami FPSO during its first full shutdown. This project showcased Conbit's capabilities as the huge flare tip was lifted directly to a supply vessel, and new water lines were installed along the flare stack.

Additionally, Conbit successfully replaced the flare tip on one of the OFON2 flare towers. This project was particularly challenging due to the limited space available to install our flare tip handling system, further demonstrating our expertise and adaptability in complex offshore environments.
